Moche Borago Cave

This itinerary is designed for those traveling by car.
Day 1: Addis Ababa to Wolayta Sodo
- Travel: In the morning, you can travel from Addis Ababa via the Butajira – Hosana – Sodo road or the Hawassa road. The distance is about 330 km and takes 6 to 7 hours by car.
- Break: Travel through beautiful landscapes along the way; if possible, see the Tia Tekel Stone (if traveling via the Butajira road).
- Accommodation: Overnight in a hotel in Wolayta Sodo town.
Day 2: Moche Borago Cave Tour
- Morning (2:30 –3:00): After breakfast in Sodo town, start your journey to Moche Borago Cave. You will need to drive part of the way to reach the cave and walk the rest.
- Morning: Visit the cave and take photos. Enjoy the amazing view of Mount Damota as you return in the afternoon.
- Afternoon: Complete the tour and return to Sodo town. Visit the town and taste traditional Wolayta cuisine.
