Trip Center and Departure

  • Departure: Dilla or Yirgachefe Town.
  1. Guide and Preparation: – Prepare for the trip by hiring a guide and carrying the necessary food and water. A guide who knows the name of Mount Baricha in the local language will shorten the route.
  2. to the exit point: – From Dilla town, travel to the kebele near the foot of the mountain by local transport or by rented car. Since the area where Baricha is located is mountainous, a 4WD vehicle is recommended.
  3. Ascent: – From the parking lot, climb to the top of the mountain. This part requires a long walk and climb. Starting early in the morning is very important for the comfort of the weather and the quality of the photograph (clear view).
