3-Day Itinerary
- Day 1 (Arrival): Travel from Addis Ababa to Dilla town. Arrange your local guide and permits at the Gedeo Zone Tourism Department or your hotel. Pack water and snacks.
- Day 2 (Summit Day): Depart early (7:00 AM) by car to the foot of Mount Rako. Hike to the peak, enjoy the panoramic views, take photos, and descend back to your vehicle. Return to Dilla for the evening.
- Day 3 (Departure): Return to Addis Ababa.
