- Evening: Enjoy traditional local cuisine and stay overnight at a Dorze Lodge or a hotel in Chencha.
Day 2: The Hike to Mount Gughe
- 06:00 AM – 08:00 AM: Depart from Chencha and travel to the foot of the mountain.
- 08:00 AM – 12:00 PM: The Trek: Begin the ascent. The path is steep, so it requires patience and a steady pace.
- 12:00 PM – 01:30 PM: Reach the summit! Enjoy the panoramic views and have your packed lunch. This is a spectacular time for photography.
- 02:00 PM – 04:30 PM: Begin the descent back to the starting point.
- Evening: Return to Arba Minch or stay another night in Chencha.
